FileMaker recently released patches to correct an SSL vulnerability in FileMaker 13. These updates must be applied to Server, then Desktops and iOS Devices. Please be aware that if your FileMaker Server has not yet been updated, as soon as any iOS users update their FileMaker Go version, they will lose the ability to connect to your FileMaker Server.
We therefore urge all customers running FileMaker 13 to update their servers as soon as practicable, and then update the client computers.
FileMaker 10 was end-of-lifed on September 27, 2014, and FileMaker 11 is officially end-of-life on September 25, 2015. Customers running systems in FileMaker 11 or earlier need to look at upgrading to FileMaker 13 as soon as is practical.
As with any major release we do recommend you discuss your situation with our support team before upgrading. The all new ‘Web Engine’ is sufficiently different that there are some considerations required before making the move to the new version.
